MANILA, Philippines — Three mall chains in Metro Manila offered free overnight parking for vehicles that will be stranded due to rains and flooding brought by Super Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.
“Ang lahat ng malls ng SM, Ayala at Robinson’s sa Metro Manila ay papayagan ang libreng overnight parking para sa mga sasakyan sa gitna ng inaasahang pagbaha sa iba’t-ibang parte ng Kamaynilaan dahil sa matinding ulan na hatid ng bagyong #Pepito,” it said in a Facebook post.

As of 4 a.m. on Sunday, Pepito was seen 85 kilometers northeast of Daet, Camarines Norte, as it moved over the sea east of the Bicol region.

Pagasa said the whole country will see rains caused by Pepito and localized thunderstorms.
It also raised a gale warning alert over the eastern, western and southern seaboards of Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Visayas.
